How it works
- 1Sign up as a tutor or extra class on Studo Guide.
- 2If you are among the first 10 to join, you are automatically enrolled in the promotion.
- 3Your profile appears in the student registration dropdown so students can select you as their current tutor or extra class.
- 4Once 5 students have registered under you, your free membership is unlocked and your profile goes live on Find Tutors and Recommended Tutors.

How It Works
Create Your Account
Sign up with your email, create a password, and fill in your tutor profile details including subjects and location.
Activate Your Subscription
Pay the R150 monthly subscription to activate your profile. Only active tutors are visible to students across the platform.
Start Teaching
Once active, students can find you in search results and get AI-matched to you. Start making an impact!
Requirements
- Minimum 65% average in the subjects you wish to tutor
- Valid South African ID or proof of residency
- Clean criminal record (verification required)
- Reliable internet connection for session coordination
- Passionate about education and helping students succeed
- Availability for at least 4 hours per week

Important: You must create an account first before making any payment. After signing up, you can manage your profile and activate your subscription from your tutor dashboard. Tutors without an active subscription will not appear in student-facing pages.
