How Earnings Work
As a tutor on Studo Guide, you set your own hourly rate when creating your profile. When a student books and completes a session, the payment is processed through our secure payment system. You receive your earnings directly into your bank account.

Set Your Own Rate
Most tutors in South Africa charge between R100 and R350 per hour depending on the subject, grade level, and their experience. You choose what works for you.
Payout Schedule
Earnings from completed sessions are processed weekly. Payments are made directly to your registered bank account every Friday for sessions completed the previous week.
Payment Methods
Students pay via EFT, card payment, or mobile money through our secure PayFast integration. You never need to handle payments directly.
Track Your Earnings
Your tutor dashboard shows real-time earnings data including total earned, pending payments, session count, and monthly trends.
Payment Protection
If a student no-shows for a confirmed session, you are still paid for the session. Our system protects tutors from losses due to student cancellations.
