How Scheduling Works

As a tutor on Studo Guide, you have full control over your availability. Students can view your available time slots and book sessions that work for both of you. The system handles all the scheduling logistics so you can focus on teaching.

Setting Your Availability

Weekly Schedule

Set your available days and time slots for each week. You can update this at any time from your tutor dashboard.

Session Duration

Choose session lengths that work for you: 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, or custom durations. Most tutors start with 1-hour sessions.

Booking Notifications

Receive instant notifications when a student books a session. Confirm or decline bookings within 24 hours to maintain your response rating.

Session Reminders

Both you and your student receive automated reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before each session to reduce no-shows.

Cancellation Policy

Students can cancel or reschedule sessions up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time at no charge. Cancellations made within 12 hours may be charged at the tutor's discretion. Tutors who cancel confirmed sessions with less than 12 hours notice may receive a lower reliability rating. Both parties are encouraged to communicate changes as early as possible.
